ABOUT ME!
Miranda Starke has been working professional for the last several years. She has a BFA from Columbia College Chicago with a minor in Stage Combat.

She is currently touring Girlfriends the Stage play around the midwest. Her Film works include Marigold in SAG-AFTRA credited film What Rhymes with Magdelena that recently was shown at the Berlin film Festival, as well as Laurie in "Theta Kappa Drugga" and Eve in "Amongst the Stars."
In addition to her studies in acting itself, she has been developing her skills in Stage Combat. She is now certified by the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat as well as the The Society of American Fight Directors in unarmed combat, broadsword, Quarter Staff, Small Sword, Hollywood Single Sword, and rapier and dagger.
She is now officially apart of the Teaching Artist Cohort at Mudlark Theatre. In addition to this she is a trained voiceover artist. She has done multiple projects with "The Merry Beggars" audio drama, and has been doing voiceover work for various films.

Artist Statement
She has a passion for community. Storytelling is something we have used for thousands of years to develop our personhood and empathy. It is apart of Miranda's goal to bridge the gap between people to establish connection that will keep us in a constant state of growth, understanding, and development.
